Most websites take 2 to 4 weeks from start to finish, depending on the size of the site and how quickly I receive your content and feedback. One-page sites often launch faster, while larger or more customized sites may take longer. I’ll give you a realistic timeline before we start and keep you updated along the way. Delays are rare, but they can happen if content, approvals, or key decisions are delayed.
Yes. All websites are built with WordPress, which gives you access to update content, images, blog posts, and more without needing to know code. I provide a short guide or walkthrough so you can make changes confidently. If you ever need help, I also offer ongoing support.
Revisions are included with each website package and follow a clear process to keep things smooth:
Each round is meant to gather all feedback at once so we can make focused changes without slowing down the project. If you need more revisions outside of what’s included, they can be added at my standard hourly rate.
I use WordPress because it’s open source, well-supported, and built to grow with your business. It powers over 40% of the internet and has a massive ecosystem of tools and plugins. That means you’re not locked into a proprietary system, and you’ll always have the freedom to expand or switch providers down the road. It’s also user-friendly enough that non-technical clients can make updates without needing ongoing developer support.
Yes, you own your website and content. If I register your domain for you, it’s still yours and I’ll transfer it to you upon request. All websites are built on open-source WordPress, so you’re never locked into a proprietary system. If you choose my hosting, the first year is included with your website package and fully paid upfront. You're free to move your site anytime during that period. After the first year (or if I’m hosting a site I didn’t build), hosting is offered on a one-year contract. You can bring your own domain or purchase one through me at cost. Full details are available in the Terms & Conditions.
Most of the sites I build are custom-designed to fit your content, goals, and audience. I don’t use cookie-cutter templates unless you specifically request it. If you already have a theme in mind or want to save time with a theme-based design, I can work with that too. Either way, the goal is to create a site that reflects your brand and works the way you need it to.
That’s totally fine, I can work with your existing hosting and domain. I’ll just need access to install WordPress if it hasn't already been installed and launch your site. If you don’t already have hosting or a domain, I can provide those as part of your website package, but it’s completely optional.
At a basic level, yes. Every site I build includes SEO best practices as part of the foundation. That means optimized page titles, mobile-first layouts, fast load speeds, and proper metadata. If you need more advanced SEO like keyword research, competitor tracking, or content strategy, I offer dedicated SEO plans that build on this solid starting point.
If I’m hosting your site, I monitor uptime and will investigate any issues right away. In most cases, downtime is rare and short-lived; often caused by routine server updates or external issues. If you host elsewhere, I’ll do my best to help troubleshoot, but full support may depend on your hosting provider. Either way, I’ll help you get answers quickly.
Yes, all website projects require a 50% non-refundable deposit to begin, with the remaining balance due at launch. Invoices are sent securely through Stripe. For other services like SEO, website management, and add-ons, you can choose a one-time purchase, month-to-month billing, or save with 3-month and 12-month plans. I provide 10% off quarterly plans and 20% off annual plans. Hosting plans are available as month-to-month or annual contracts. If you prepay for a full year of hosting, you’ll get two months free.
Yes, I offer ongoing support through my Website Management plans, which cover things like content updates, blog formatting, plugin updates, and more. Whether you need regular help or just the occasional tweak, I’ve got flexible options to keep your site running smoothly. If you're more hands-on, I also provide guidance so you can manage things yourself confidently.
If I’m hosting your site or you’re on a Website Management plan, I’ll handle any issues that come up. Whether it’s a plugin conflict, a layout glitch, or something not loading correctly. If you’re not on a plan, I can still help, but fixes are billed at my standard hourly rate. Either way, I’ll make sure you’re not left in the dark.
Yes, your site and data are yours. If I registered your domain on your behalf, I’ll transfer it to you upon request. You can also export your content or move your site to a different host at any time. I’ll make the process as smooth as possible if you ever decide to make a change.
You can cancel any service at any time. If you're on a contract 50% of the remaining balance will be due at cancellation. Refunds are unavailable on services that have already been paid for. Downgrades and pauses aren’t available, but if you’d like to upgrade, just let me know and I’ll calculate a fair, prorated amount to cover any current prepaid plan.
